Anthony R. Martoccia Associate deputy administrator for the Office of Government Contracting and Business Development for the U.S. Small Business Administration




Anthony R. Martoccia is the Associate Deputy Administrator for the Office of Government Contracting and Business Development for the U.S. Small Business Administration.  Martoccia serves as chief adviser to Administrator Steven C. Preston on implementation of policies and procedures for the Office of Government Contracting and Business Development, which oversees the 8(a) Business Development program, the HUBZone Empowerment Contracting program and the offices of Technology, Size Standards and Policy, Planning and Liaison and the federal Small Business Contracting program. 

Before joining the SBA Martoccia held various procurement management positions at the Department of Transportation (DOT), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and the Department of Defense (DOD).  At the DOT, Martoccia managed major acquisitions including the development of the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Intelligent Transportation Systems.

Martoccia is an Army veteran and Army reserve officer.  He holds a master’s degree in Management from Central Michigan University, a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Nevada and an A.A.S. in Electrical Technology from State University of New York.
