"Insuring Your Home & Business Before Disaster Strikes"

Loretta Worters, vice president of Communications for the Insurance Information Institute will host the June Web chat on "Insuring Your Home & Business Before Disaster Strikes.” Disaster preparedness begins with having adequate insurance coverage – at least enough to rebuild your home and replace personal belongings. Homeowners and business owners are encouraged to review their policies to see what isn’t covered. Worters will answer questions about insurance coverage for businesses, homeowners and renters; business interruption insurance, which helps to cover operating costs during the post-disaster shutdown period; and the essentials of flood insurance.
